Dale Care is one of the leading home care services in Co Durham and the Gateshead Area and was established in 1986 by Enid Pilcher a retired district nurse from Barnard Castle. In 1993 it was taken over by the current owners Glynnis Holland and Marion Evans. At Dale Care, we’re passionate about providing exceptional local home care, and with over a quarter of a century in the business we’re able to address a comprehensive range of client needs. Our in home care services are targeted towards helping the people that need our services to stay as independent as possible, within the comfort of their own home. We feel that not just independence but also dignity, respect and fulfilment are all equally as important.
Comprehensive In-Home Support
Our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in order for us to provide round-the-clock support. We are here to help with everything from personal care, administering medication, bathing, dressing and all other related tasks to cooking, shopping, cleaning and befriending.
Support with Stability
At Dale Care we endeavour to build strong relationships with our clients. There is no one size fits all approach to home care, which is why we think it is so important to get to know our clients and their families so that we can provide the best and most appropriate support possible. Meanwhile, our staff are all fully trained, vetted and DBS checked. The vast majority of our clients want to stay in their own home for as long as realistically possible which is why we constantly work hard to provide the support that they need to make this possible.
Better Care Services
We are committed to ensuring that our clients are treated with the utmost respect and dignity. As the largest personal care provider for Durham County Council and one of the providers for Gateshead council we have earned our reputation only through going the extra mile to provide the highest standards of flexible, high-quality home care in the county. Dale Care also provides Co. Durham and Gateshead in home care services to the local Health Trust and has received excellent reports from the Care Quality Commission, the home care regulator.
